I Had some Problems with this I tried to create the MCBoot on my bros slim ps2 don't know what model I was just Curious. So I just made the MCBoot the same exact way as the first time, I used my Fat Ps2 and everything went fine after plugging it into my brothers slim. The problem was When I put that mem card in my bros Ps2, the booting process was working, but I tried to do the Free MCBoot Install on his and It would just freeze using Ulauncher to start the elf, so I tried some other Methods Including: Plain Copy and Paste Using the PS2 Browser Copy and Paste Using my Ulauncher and I tried to start the elf through Codebreaker, AR Max, and GS All to the same result Frozen. Any How I already Had The old Exploit set up on my Fat Ps2 and I just found out how to install Free MCBoot, I did It By Using Ulauncher. As well It can produce different sounds to notify you of different actions.It also has scheduler pro, which schedules your activities of the system.Put the Memory card in again, and you are back to having a FMCB Modded PS2. Without the FMCB memory card in your PS2, it will return to its “stock” condition. Also, if you want to operate your PS2 in its original condition, simply remove the FMCB memory card.
From here on out, you can back up games you legally own, or install emulators or do whatever you like! (just be careful not to delete anything you aren't 100% sure that you know what it is.You can use “uLaunchELF” from the main screen to install more software, or you can use ESR to launch backup copies of games. You can still choose Browser from the main menu to manage your memory card, etc. Your PS2 will still launch official games like normal.Once you've patched the ISO, and burned it to disc (by following the same directions from Part2c) Just put it in the disc drive and choose “ESR” from the FreeMcBoot menu, and it will launch. Any ISO you expect to use with your FreeMcBoot Modded PS2 must be patched with this program BEFORE it is burned to disc, or it will not launch.
